Overview
We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 8th Plant Science Student Conference (PSSC) 2012 to be held at The IPK Gatersleben in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany , on the 4th - June 7th 2012.
After a successful Plant Science Student Conference 2011 at the IPB Halle, we hope that this year’s scientific and social program will combine to make this an exciting and memorable event as well.
As in the last years the conference will be three days full of fascinating talks, poster sessions and social activities. Besides PhD students from the IPK Gatersleben and the IPB Halle, PhD students from all over Europe are invited to take part in the conference.
Additionally, the conference will be enriched by the participation of four guest speakers.
Furthermore, a jury of scientists will award the three best talks and posters, so every participant is encouraged to give a great talk or design a spectacular poster! Also the audience will be asked to choose their favorite talk amongst all contributions.
As social highlights, we will go for a hiking trip in the nearby region to have the opportunity to network and enjoy this beautiful part of the country. This day will be completed by the screening of the infamous ‘PHD MOVIE’ and of course rounded down by a hopefully amazing conference closing party!
The registration will be from March 22nd until April 30th
